Southern California native Dane Reynolds was introduced to surfing at the age of 8 during a summer vacation in Ventura, California. He convinced his family to re-locate permanently to the coastal town, and for the next ten years demonstrated a complete dedication to surfing by spending all of his daylight hours in the water -- competing in (and winning) local and national amateur surf contests. That dedication has yielded incredible results. Dane's creativity and progressive instincts have shaped the 27 year-old's surfing career for nearly two decades, establishing him as one of the world's top free surf talents and also as a major contender on the global competition circuit.
