Snowboarding and skateboarding are the two biggest influences on James' life. His friends, inspirations, goals, musical tastes and idols all stem from these sports. "They all spur in one way or another from my love for these sports."
With over 10 years experience in snowboarding, James has experienced his fair share of high and lows, showing his great courage and character to recover from reconstructive knee surgery in 2008. His injuries and empty bank accounts are a worthy trade for the friends he's made and the good times he's had. During the summer months, James hosts events, MC's at contests and becomes a general master of ceremonies. An avid cyclist, he also races bikes, both on the road and in the velodrome but he does not shave his legs.
