BIOGRAPHY: Luke Dillon was born in Cornwall and grew up in Newquay. He began surfing his local breaks at Fistral Beach and Little Fistral when he was 8 years old and started surfing competitively shortly after his ninth birthday. In only his second contest, Luke finished at the top of the leader board to claim the 'King of the Groms' U10's title and has been riding with Quiksilver ever since. When the surf's flat, Luke can be found donning his skills at the local skate park, whether it's on his skateboard or BMX. His main aim is continue surfing at the highest level and eventually take on the world's best on the WCT. Luke's idols include Kelly Slater and the Young Guns, both, as Luke says "for pushing surfing to a whole new level." This grom gets motivated by "Fistral firing, watching surfing DVD's and getting amped on good music." A keen traveller, his most memorable experiences came from a trip to Australia in 2007 where he was given the chance to surf Snapper and D'Bah for the first time.
